We got up at 6:30 this morning to be on the street as the over 50,000 runners for the Lymphoma and Leukemia Foundations ran by us at the 3 mile mark . We heard on the news last night that theyhad raised $18,000,000!!!!!... Larry's new best friend is Sgt. Anna Lee, who kept us up on all the latest race info she got on her earphone.
Looking for Leigh Ann in the sea of faces for over an hour.... Some runners wore wigs, signs, crowns, lights, spray painted hair, we even saw a pair of bananas running the marathon!! The supporters on the sidelines were just as fun.....costumed with noise makers, human and otherwise... and THEN..........THERE SHE WAS!!!!!!
