OVER THE RIVER AND THROUGH THE WOODS TO KRISTIE AND RUSS'S HOUSE WE GO
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! We enjoyed another feast at Kristie and Russ's with both the families! Russ makes the BEST turkey!! Kristie makes the BEST dressing and pea salad! Jennie makes the BEST mashed potatoes and cranberry chutney! Becky makes the BEST sweet potatoes! Holly makes the BEST corn pudding! The rest of us just fill in and then....fill UP!
Wright State beat Coastal Carolina on Monday 71 to 48! Too fun to be at Nutter Center! Here is Larry with WSU's President David Hopkins who sits behind us and knows his basketball! We have been going to WSU roundball since 1988 and sitting next to our neighbors and good friends Madonna and Neal! Go RAIDERS!!!
Tuesday my Wild Violets group met for dinner. These are friends from my graduating class in high school! At least 8-15 of us meet monthly for dinner. I LOVE this group. I am not Larry's wife here, or Kristie or Jennie's mom, or Mrs Holland fifth grade teacher......I am just me! We have known each other since Brownie Scouts! Hmmm.....Counting back to see how many years that would be.....never mind...
Instead of eating leftovers Friday night, we attended a soft opening of a new restaurant, Rue Domain. FABULOUS FOOD!! The chef is Ann Kearny, award winning New Orleans chef. Her husband is the son of friends of ours. We enjoyed dinner with our new friends, the Davises. FABULOUS FOOD! Everybody go! Next door to Arhaus Furniture. FABULOUS FOOD!
Bogey had a ton of doggie friends come to visit this week! Rocco, Charlotte, and Bentley stopped by on a walk....and all 8 pounds of Bubba came by with Jennie to play and snuggle.

STITCHERY IN THE ROUND / THE REDCOACH GANG
Tuesday was Stitchery! The ten of us have met at one of our houses every month for 25 years now. Leigh Ann even ordered each of us specially designed Stitchery Friend Sterling Pins this year. Can you make out the 25 shaped into a heart???
I saw this in the round picture on Melissa's blog and tried it out at Stitchery since we were ALL THERE! We tried several ways and ended up with the "wrinkles back" position. Marty was a trooper as he filmed us discretely ignoring all the hysterical side comments! Had to have a pic of MY view of Marty, the cameraman!!
Partied with those retired folks...Elsners and Weigands......We started with a delish dinner at Bullwinkles! Larry and I haven't been there since the day OJ was in the white Bronco! I had forgotten how good the food is there! They STILL had my favorite.......Sante Fe Chicken! Every one else pigged out on the famous ribs of course. Remember how you used to be able to cook your own steaks there? We ended the evening back at the Holland Bar for drinks, spillage, and old time Rock and Roll!

OHIO STATE ROSEBOWL BOUND
14-3 A perfect score against Michigan! Larry really gets into OSU football...especially THIS game! He sits in his lucky rocker that Jennie gave him for Christmas last year and it always works!.... at least so far. Off to the Rosebowl!! When IS that game? Anyone know?
