The Christmas Season

So many fun things to do this time of year.........and special people to connect with!

My Wild Violets Group of high school pals celebrated our friendship at Liz's home this season. We ate a delicious meal cheffed by all twelve of us.......yum. Thanks Liz!

The Beavertown Rewired Teachers gathered at Karen Spencer's home for a pre Christmas get together. It was so much fun to see Sue Erbough, Monica Letavic, Debbie Beck, Dorothy Emmons (Johnson), Nina and Ralph Dispasquale, Sue Fanilli, Sarah Myers, Linda Beard, Sue Nolan, Jan and Sid Stansel, Kathy Akers, Margo and Fred Borst, Marolyn Holloway, Bob Suter and his fiancee Della, and Karen and Robert of course. It was fun catching up, and Karen's home was so beautiful! Larry was thrilled to get the "garage tour" and see all three of Robert's rebuilt Corvettes! Wow!

Helen and Jon hosted the 25th annual Cookie Decorating party on the Eve of the Eve. The neighborhood children were home from college and the children of yesterday's children were busy decorating beautiful cookies! What a special evening!

Christmas at the Holland House started early in the morning and went at full tilt all day. Light up Rudolph noses and voice changing machines set the tone for the official Nonsense of the Day. Jenny baked up a storm and brought chocolate cookies, chocolate pretzels, fudge and pineapple turnovers! Coupled with Grandma's nut rolls and cinnamon rolls, chili rolleni, and biscotti, we feasted all morning!! We are so fortunate to be able to gather as a complete family. Everyone was happy with their gifts and especially the love they were given with. Too soon the special day was over!
