Our day began at Lou Mitchell's restaurant, located on Jackson Street, the official start to any 66 trip. What a fun fun place! I had the MOST wonderful banana pancakes! and Larry raved about his French Toast AND his new best friend Linda, our waitress! She gave as good as she took. She finished off our breakfast with complimentary Milk Duds for me, and ice cream for both of us.........sooo good with their yummy coffee.
It's a beautiful day today. 89 is predicted even as we head west.
