Thursday evening we dropped Bogey off at Aunt Jennie's house. He was reunited with his Golden cousins Lucy and Sarah and a little friend Bubba!! We learned tonight that he is now a fan of Kongs filled with spray cheese!!
This morning Don, Dottie, and Bentley (brown and white and short) came to our house and we all drove to Chicago. We stopped for coneys and barbeques at the Ice Cream Paradise where we could eat at a snazzy outdoor picnic area. On to Chicago! Juanita, our GPS, did a fabulous job of finding our hotel! We did NOT get lost...not even once!!! HOWEVER, we think the original travelers in Conastoga wagons on Route 66 moved faster than we did along I-90.
Then on to D and D's daughter Allyson's and Marco's awesome, brand new condo in Lincoln Park. We played with their two dogs huge Rocko and teensy Charlotte as we drank "refreshments" and snarfed down tons of snacks.
On to their favorite watering hole, ROCKS....which ROCKED. Larry discoveered Kettle One on the ROCKS at the insistance of Marco..even though all he really wanted was a glass of holy water. Thanks Marco for dinner....delish!
