Playing Turtle Point with Larry is so much fun.......First there are the three ocean holes, breezy and beautiful. Can you see the ocean over our shoulders? But this time there was an extra thrill!....an ACTUAL FIRST in my life! I guess Larry can only blame himself for being such a good golf teacher and coach. Plus it was HIS idea to give me a stroke a hole...not to speak of the many close gimmes I would have surely putted out anyway! WOOHOO! I shot a 111!
Along the course, Larry hit a shot over some water with a gallery of a lone blue heron who just calmly watched the magnicent shot and DIDN'T fly away!! We ate my victory dinner at Turtle Point clubhouse. Check out this pork chop with swiss chard and a "hash" of sweet potatoes and onions. YUM de YUM YUM
