Black Belt Shopping

Now, when you hear me say I have never shopped so much as when we did Charleston this year, you know it was SOMEthing! I started on upper King Street where they are revitalizing. Daring new little boutiques and eateries.....mmmmmmm

Next down to the lower King Street area...on to Charleston Place with its Chicos, Paparys, Tommy Bahama, bookstores, etc..........THEN>>>>>> I met the girls who had taken a carriage ride, etc. We shopped the Market (five blocks) and then Market Street itself. Everyone found treasures like Jennie's new sweetgrass basket, my adorable shoes, benne wafers (Charleston sesame cookies) and our matching South Carolina bracelets!!!

Larry played golf all day and met us in the city for dinner at Jestines..........On home for that STRATEGY GAME, Shanghai, poker, and a new game to me Spades!
