I traveled to Naples this past week to enjoy the company of four friends while beaching.......shopping.......eating out.......sunset cruising..... FABULOUS WEEK!
Pat, Jan, Demaris, and I stayed at Madonna and Neal's gorgeous condo overlooking the gulf, traveled up to Sanibel Island to visit good friends Andy and JoAnn, ate out every meal in the most fun places, and shopped in some very upscale malls and downtown shops! Swoozie's, a paper product shop was my favorite! I was going to order some personalized stationery there until I discovered it was $310.00 for 25 sheets and envelopes!!!!!!!!!!!!
I layed on the beach HOURS each day and DIDN'T BURN!!!! How cool is THAT!! I will let you know the name of the product I used when I buy some of my own. Miracle stuff!
Yes, I have some food pictures! Mine is Mandren Beef on sticks stuck into a cut apple and surrounded by an apple chutney and yummy sauces!! Jan had a shrimp thing, Pat a crab cake concoction, and Demaris's was an oriential chicken, I think, with chop sticks! The restaurant was Chops. Mmmmgood.
Sooooooooooo glad I am retired and can enjoy The Best of Everything that Naples had to offer!
Back home now, and relaxed.........Larry said I was a woman of color. Now, THAT is a first!
